Banner Week

Have you heard the saying, "When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on"? This week clearly demonstrates the wisdom of this sentiment. In the last two days, two of the major things that I have been stuck on were unstuck.
  • Tenure - can I say, "WOO-HOO" one more time?
  • Kazakhstan is open to international adoptions from the United States.

And, as a bonus, I finished grading midterm exams today . . . and it is warm and sunny. And, my hair is even better. The lumpy, funky part is starting to grow out. What else can a girl ask for?

Happy day!!
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands, (CLAP CLAP)
if you're happy and you know it, post it in your blog (type type)

if you're happy and you know it then you're blog will surely show it and your friends will be so glad to hear it too (smile smile)

Awesome, congratulations! Sorry I've been mostly AWOL, I'm back in the states and just loving high speed internet again! Happy to catch up with you, and I always love your rants ;-)

Just catching up so I just read all the things you were worried about (and related to a lot of them) and then was able have a big sigh of relief to hear that things are going better.
Congrats to Scott on the tenure.
And Yay that the Kaz suspension is over and was very short.
Happy Days are here again.
