Seeking Experienced Pancake Maker

For the last few years, Luca has eaten pancakes with some sort of berry jam and a banana almost every morning for breakfast. The alternative (which is not preferable for our boy) is Honey Nut Cheerios and a banana. Luca is really healthy - he rarely gets sick and if he does it is a runny nose (knock on wood). I attribute this to the daily banana.

Anyway, the pancakes aren't purchased at the store. They are homemade . . . blueberry with buckwheat or whole wheat pastry flour for nutrition. I make large batches and freeze them. Over the next 2 days I want to make 23 days worth of pancakes which adds up to 69 pancakes, hence the title of the post.

Help :)!

53 hours until take-off!

wow!! I know then you will not stress to feed Saskia then!

Sean eats pancakes, but frozen, whole wheat ones from aunt Jemima..and nutragrain waffles, from special k...straight from the freezer.
Or, sometimes he has cereal, or poptarts. He never gets sick either...he says cuz of poptarts...

I am going to get a breadmaker and learn to make Leeza soup...for sure.

I'm a lame cook-but I will get better....only because I adore Leeza's healthy lil body and want her to eat good stuff.
I wish i could also adopt the baby house staff!!

Bake on sistah!!

What a great mom you are! Noah eats the same thing for breakfast every morning too. "Panpake's please" is what I hear! Good luck! Luca will surely appreciate the normalcy in your absence.

Just think, Luca will feel your love every morning through your pancakes.
Now all he needs is to have someone make a heart and/or smiley face out of syrup. Such a great mom--lucky, lucky Luca and Saskia.

53 hours and counting...

Do you remember when Luca went two or three days without pancakes? I think it was in March or April..
He really needs your pancakes to start the day off right!! LOL

You are such a ROCK STAR mom!!!!

Oooohh... I'd love that pancake recipe! In your spare time, of course. ;) I try really hard to feed Zoe healthy and balanced meals but it's difficult. I often feel in such a rut and am always looking for new ideas. Particularly easy ones.

I can't believe you're leaving so soon. We are counting down with you.

Wish I lived closer, we'd have a giant pancake making party!

Alexa also has a daily banana with her oatmeal... I may have to add pancakes to the menu ;-)

Yummy, Pancakes my favorite. One of mine eats bananas like they are going out of style and one eats apples. Maybe it helps with the sicknesses..

I can't believe you are leaving in 53 hours, wow. You must have a billion emotions running thru you right now. Congrats!! Can't wait to "meet" Saskia!
