Technical Difficulties

A quick note . . . we lost internet access and now our computer refuses to get itself online. OH MY GOODNESS - HOW FRUSTRATING!

Our visits with Alia continue to go well. They are allowing us to feed her formula! Admittedly, I have some reservations about formula, but have put those on hold. The goal here is vitamins, vitamins, vitamins!

She is turning book pages on command! Unbelievable. This has happened more than once. And, it seems most of the stiffness has gone away. She loves shaking and pumping those arms and legs. It is like she discovered she has limbs.

I look into those beautiful eyes of hers and lots of gears turning. Watch out Luca!

We continue to enjoy the company of the other couple here. What a godsend!

sorry about the technical difficulties, but you got online to post, so that must be good news!!

I am so thrilled to hear of Alia's wonderful progress in the 10 days you've been with her! It is soooooooooooooo amazing to watch it. I watched so many kids transform on blogs and it was so heartwarming and wonderful...but even more so when you see your own child transform right before your very eyes!
That is such great news.
I am so excited for Joe to come and see Leeza. She was doing kisses today. Big open mouthed baby slobber ones...LOVE IT!
I continue to be amazed and impressed at how much she absorbs. Of course, we think she is BRILLIANT beyond belief. :)

I'm so glad you are enjoying the other couple's company. That is wonderful!

Technical difficulties... oh no!!!!!

I bet Alia starts taking her sister duties seriously in no time at all with Luca. Poor Boy!!! He won't know what to do.
A sister's job is to train her brother so that he can later put up with his wife. HA!HA!HA!
I think I did a great job training my brother but my husband doesn't have a sister so I have had to start from scratch!!!!

Hey Angela,
I know how frustrating not having internet use while here - so hopefully it will be fixed soon for you guys.

Well my friend we are almost out of here - court was today and it is official. Sad to leave the little guy but knowing he is following right behind us is what we are focusing on now.

Isn't it just wonderful how they blossom in front of your eyes? We saw the changes everyday with Nicholas and it is truly amazing. Glad you have company - we had the 2 other couples with us and it is great to have English speaking company!!!!!

Chat with you soon from NY.

It's wonderful to hear Alia's progress. It sounds like you're doing a fantastic job with her limbs and movement. I really can't wait to finally get to see photos of her....but I'll be patient :)

I'm glad it's working out with the other couple.

I'll keep my fingers crossed about your internet access. Yes, I'd be quite frustrated too! Hang in there!

Ahh, yes, the internet. How I remember those days. But somehow you did manage to get an update through.

Glad to hear your friends are good company for you. Can't wait to see what Alia looks like. I have an image in my head but it's probably all wrong.

Ugh those technical difficulties. I remember those days well -- days when I thought I'd end up throwing my computer through our hotel room window in Ust! I still can't believe Susan has hi-speed ... that is setting the bar pretty high! We are so happy for any type of update, and we look forward to seeing more and more of Alia as the days progress. Are you able to tell us any more about the other family? Totally understand if they want their privacy protected....

There is NOTHING more frustrating than a faulty internet connection and technical difficulties!! I hope it all gets worked out b/c I live for your posts!!

I can't believe how well Alia is doing...I love reading about those "wheels turning"..haha
I can just imagine the crazy things that are going to happen when Alia and Luca are together...

I talked to Luca again a few days ago..He gets funnier by the day!!!

Take care, Kami

The EXACT same thing happened to me while at the cottage last summer. I couldn't figure it out. The good news is that it never seemed to last more than 24-30 hours and it seemed to fix itself. You can also restart the wireless router and that sometimes helped.

Alia sounds so precious. The long gazes are very good news! and lessening stiffness? Hooray!
