Reasons to be thankful this week

  • Scott & Luca
  • Family & friends
  • OUR @^%)_+_)&#@!! I171H!

I wish this post could be more creative and better written but I just don't have the presence of mind to do that because WE FINALLY GOT THAT ONE LAST PIECE OF PAPER! I cannot tell you how relieved I am. I cannot tell you how much this convinces me that this WILL happen. I wish I could explain why this is the point at which I start believing . . . why this point marks the beginning. It just does. And, now, I can allow myself to dream about "Saskia."

I could not be more thankful!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You've had the longest wait for that darn piece of paper than anyone I know. I hope you toasted it with a good bottle of wine (or beverage of choice)! :-)

Here's to the rest of it being quick and smooth, and to seeing Kaz in early spring.

Congratulations, Angela! Progress! I finally put you together with the Angela who makes such insightful posts on various blogs I follow! You are going to be a wonderful Kaz mom. And I bet you'll learn a bundle from our "kids" as they go through the process (Jen & Marshall). I look forward to following your journey!

When you do get that bundle of joy to your agency? Send it! Send it! And I agree with Shannon above $%^&* is about as close as you probably can get...

Right ON! High five!

I think you are allowed at least 1 curse word a month in an adoption blog without anyone thinking you're a potty mouth. :-)

Wow—you got your approval. Yay!!!

My husband is from Chicago and when his divorce decree came in I thought the Illinois apostille was very elegant. Especially when you compare it to Minnesota's.

Congrats and Happy Thanksgiving.
